Activities - Fife Coastal Trail
Fife coastal trail, fishing villages Kingdom of Fife, East Neuk of Fife, Anstruther Pittenweem harbour. Completed in 2002 the Fife Coastal Path runs from Culross to the Tay Bridge and offers a range of walking experience, from the easy and level to the wild and demanding.
Whether young or old there is something for everyone. Enjoy the superb coastline with its rich wildlife, picturesque villages, castles, churches and harbours. The path can be done in bite size chunks, or as a long distance route. The route is clearly waymarked making navigation simple, and is well served by public transport.
Locally, enjoy the exhilaration of the 'Chain Walk' situated between Lower Largo and Elie. Explore the Lady's Tower, the Lighthouse and Ruby Bay before examining the Windmill and the remains of the Salt pan houses along the coast between St Monans and Pittenweem.
